The goal of our proprietary methodology Value Compass is to align your sourcing vision with execution reality.
Value Compass aligns your sourcing targets to process and performance metrics in the implementation thus always providing calibration point(s) to drive the real value of the sourcing initiative. This outcome driven process approach allows us to make an implementation customizable, more predictable and manage the results to its set business objectives.
This is a two step process:
- Understand the true business objectives of the global sourcing
- Customize the processes and performance metrics to align the implementation to the business objectives.
These two steps allow us to tune our collaborative processes in sourcing governance, performance measurement, delivery operations and quality management to meet the sourcing objectives. |

All implementations are managed on a standard roadmap across three levels.
- Strategic - Engagement level which keeps the objectives of the sourcing as its primary objective
- Process - Collaboration level which ensures that both client and vendor teams have the tools and processes to work successfully with each other
- Project - Technical level which covers the technical implementation goals of the engagement
A simple representation of the methodology at work is shown in the figure on the side. The four colors represent different projects in different departments and thus with different goals. Our methodology allows us to manage all four in the same framework yet with the different objectives and metrics.
